And this week just a few photos of the game, Golan 73 Arab Israeli conflict. The figures are great and the game was really good. It actually turned out as a Syrian win (surprisingly) we use Cold War Commander and you can use hidden movement, this led to a game that meant we both side waltzed around each other then it just all went off in the last three rounds.
The Israeli air force getting set to put the beat down on the baddies (me in this case):
An Israeli combined arms attack:
And the unluckiest tank in the game, destroyed by friendly fire!! It was a blunder.....
The other game as a 28mm ancients using hail Ceasar. No phots but looked great.
This blog exists for two reasons (1) Like most wargamers I have a pile of figures I have never painted, never used and that may never see the light of day. This should help me pull my finger out to get them done (2) I take commissions and I can show people what I paint, and hopefully people will like what they see here...

Tver and St Petersburg Dragoons
I am nearing completion with some early Russian dragoons. I like the early Russian cavalry, the ridiculous headgear is brilliant. The Orange are the Tver regiment and the pink are the St Petersburg.
Again they are ABs, and again I like them alot.

AB Early Russian Grenadiers and Jagers
These have just been finished for a chap in Scotland. Lovely miniatures but the Jagers seemed to take for ever to finish.
First the Grenadiers, painted as the Pavlov with the 1803 Flag.
Now the jagers, regiment number 6 fought at Austerlitz.
I want to keep them.......
